Ok, I have some confessions to make...
Here goes:
1) I have never see the movie Titanic.
I've see many of the documentaries, even the IMAX version, but not the one with Leo and Kate.
2) I do not own an iPod.
My niece did let me look at hers. For 2 whole minutes. Then I had to give it back.
Update: Look what Amazon just sent me! ======>
3) I still use my walkman and listen to *gasp* tapes.
I only have
4) I don't own a cell phone.
We had one, but we got rid of it.
5) I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books.
There are 2 now right? 7? Yikes.
Ah, I feel much better. Thank you.

You didn't miss much with the movie. I mean - everyone knows the end, right?
iPod - Whatever. It's not a necessity.
Actually, of all the tings, I think the cell phone is the weird part, but rally - it isn't at all. Because I always think, "why do people act like they can't LIVE without their cell phones now?"! It drives me INSANE.
Of course, we got rid of our house phone and only kept the cell phones when we moved, so... I kinda do have to have mine.
Anyway, I find you refreshing and sane. Kitschy, even.
Haha
Um, sorry about all the typos. I am so, so tired!
Happy VD! :P
No LEO???? How do you go on? He he... I only saw it cause I though he was hot..
you really are not missing much by not seeing titanic. However. I love my iPod. Especially at the gym.
My cell phone I could actually live without. I've only had one for a few years. I always forget to bring it with me, and I still have my landline.
1) what?!
2) what?!
3) what?!?!
4) what?!
5) what?!
who *are* you?!
oh i'm kidding. you're probably not crazy. probably.
okay. really:
1) i loved this, but don't think i'd watch it *now*
2) i haven't charged mine in over a year, but now probably will owing to the walking i'm going to be doing
3) i don't know if i even have any tapes
4) i have one that no one calls me on
5) i USED to be a not-gonna-read-em girl. then i read the first one.
it is the only set of books i may read twice. i said *may* cuz i never read books twice, in that there are so many other books out there i *haven't* read that i gotta get crackin' on.
this is the kind of comment i do at 7:30 in the morning.
yeah, shouldn'ta bothered. i know.
i'll never do it again.
1) I have. It sucked, no worries.
2) I don't either. My bf does so I know how to used one though.
3) I own nothing with which to listen to music, which is sad, but true. The last tape I remember having was Eric Clapton.
4) I have one but rarely use it. I don't even know the number for it. But my old phone I had in the U.S. I used for everything.
5) Certainly worth the read. Awesome series of books.
It took me a long time to see Titanic. I mean you know how it ends right? I hate watching movies when I know there is a tragic ending.
I luvs my cell phone, though.
NO CELL PHONE. I love my cellphone. Of course my cellphone is also my ipod. and I am a tech whore apparently... but still. wow... but what really touched me the most was the fact that you've never seen the movie Titanic. Do you know why I found that so touching.
I've never seen it really. A guy I was dating for a while insisted that I watch it with him... I fell asleep 20 minutes in... I wasn't even really tired... I woke up after it was over... I considered it to be coma inducing... and I was a little troubled by how much he seemed to like it.
sybil x 2: Yep, no cell phone. Seriously, why are you always laughing at me? I look over at the pic in your comment, and there you are laughing.
talina: I was not spared from hearing the Celine Dion song, over and over and over...
mielikki: Well, I just got a MP3 player today (see, it's in my Treasurelicious list) and it is for the gym.
holly:
Yes!
Yes!
Yes!
Yes!
Yes!
Wait, what was the question? Was it about pizza? I always say yes to pizza.
lilac: Perhaps, I will put them on my list, the very, very, very, bottom of the list of books to read.
groovy: Actually, I don't know how it ends. Do they all die? Just Leo? Just Kate? Hmmmmm. I don't really care.
cami: Yes, no cell phone. Therefore, no twitter. Will you let me hold your iPhone? I'll be very, very gentle.
My boyfriend at the time actually went to see Titanic with another girl. Wow, that probably should have been a clue to me, huh?
love the new pic.
if you c'mon over we'll have pizza tonight.
1. Saw it, spent half the film hunkered in lobby with underaged, too scared, utterly overwhelmed progeny. Silly me, I hadn't realized that the ship goes down in real time. No quick disaster-let's-move-along-with-the-romance that one. No sir.
2. I own one as of this Christmas, but have almost no clue how to use it. My beloved has to turn it of for me.
3. I have tapes, but no walkman; may I borrow yours?
4. New ones almost every 6 mos. in this family.
5. Read 1&2, isolated chapters in a few, then the last one. Pretty much hated the movies. Me likes Golden Compass a lot more.
damn. all this talk about pizza and now I really want some. I think we're making pizza tonight... and another round of the painkiller drink.
and yes... If I am at the metro meetup and you are at the metro meetup then I will let you hold it... under penalty of pain if you sneeze on it or break it or anything ;)
1. don't do it. it will be three and half hours you'll never get back.
2. nope. nor me. nor an mp3. yet somehow I survive.
3. ah this will be how. i have one of these too. i bought it in 1985. could be an antique now.
4. i do. but i hate it. so does it still count?
5. see point 1. only multiply by several hundred.
holly x2: Martin hates the hate. heh heh
The sun was out, so I felt the need to take some pictures.
I will be right over! Save me some pizza!
menchuvy: We actually have two walkmans. And our tapes are starting to break. But yes, you may borrow one.
cami: Ah yes, I will be there. And I have a secret iPhone connection.
belle: Wow, you are the first person to tell me to avoid Harry Potter. Ok. Done.
